Glycycoumarin is a potent antispasmodic agent. Glycycoumarin is a major bioactive coumarin of licorice and exhibits antispasmodic activity. Glycycoumarin also has hepatoprotective effect. Glycycoumarin can be used for the research of abdominal pain and liver disorders[1][2].
